Lee Einhorn

Creative Director/Director

Lee’s creative background includes writing, branded entertainment, digital media, film production, design and a belief that quick collaborative thinking and transparency lead to great work. 

As a freelance creative Lee works both direct to client and through agency partners. Recent collaborators include: Droga5, Havas, IPG, Vanguard, Workday, VB&P, Camp and King, VMLY&R, AKQA, Solve, Martin Agency, OPUS, and CADDIS Eyewear.


From 2018 to 2021 he combined forces with partner Stephen Goldblatt to launch Partners in Crime/SF. As storytellers they executed across film, social and experiential platforms to expand reach and target consumers with all forms of content. Clients included Bank of the West, Indeed, Right Rice, Caddis Eyewear, SunBasket, Vail Resorts, and the US Census.  Lee also directs commercials through Emerald Pictures in Los Angeles where he sits on their director roster.

Lee was an Associate Partner and Creative Director for 8 years at Venables Bell & Partners. He was instrumental in leading some of the most innovative and talked-about campaigns VB&P has created for clients like Google, GoogleFiber,  eBay, Audi, 3M and most notably the #OptOutside campaign for client REI, which won the Cannes Titanium Grand Prix. Along with his Creative Director duties he directed film content for VB&P clients and served as the Creative Lead of Lumberyard, the agency’s in-house production unit. 

Prior to VB&P, Lee worked at Mekanism and Rabbit Content, creative directing and directing campaigns for Nike, Microsoft, Sprint, PG&E, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Comcast, MTV and others. Prior to that he also founded Arnold Entertainment, a branded content arm of the agency where he worked for 5 years and helped to create the award-winning truth anti-tobacco campaign that at its time drove down smoking by 29% and was the most awarded PSA campaign ever.

His work has been recognized multiple times by: The One Show, Cannes, The Emmys, The Andy Awards, The Art Directors Club, The Clios, The Kelly Awards, Communication Arts, AICP, Hatch Awards, and the London International Advertising Awards.
